How many times have you heard of someone naming their child after a famous person or place? We are sure, many times! But how many times have you heard of parents naming their children after a dish or food they love? It’s quite fun, isn’t it? Well, the icing on the cake is the name of a baby in the UK named after an Indian dish!
Captain’s Table is a popular restaurant in Newtownabbey, Ireland. Recently, the restaurant has posted quite emotional shares on social networks. They announced on Facebook that a couple, who frequent their restaurant a lot, have now named their new-born after a dish from their restaurant.
In case you’re wondering what it is, it’s none other than `Pakora`. Similar to the “Pakora” we enjoy with tea during the monsoons.
The restaurant shared a photo of the new-born and wrote, “Now for the first time… welcome to Pakora world! We can’t wait to see you! Xx”
The restaurant also shares a photo of the receipt with the names of some dishes containing “pakora”!
