Bose QuiteComfort Earbuds II: Tune in and tune out

After two years since the release of the first edition, bose has introduced the QuiteComfort Earbuds II. The QuiteComfort Earbuds II have a smaller size and offer various improvements.

As stated by the company, the new buds are the best noise cancelling on the market, including in-ear and over-ear models. The most recent Bose QC Earbuds II also include CustomTune sound calibration; as a result, each time you use them, they play a proprietary tone to evaluate the acoustic response of your ear canal before adjusting the audio and noise cancellation for your particular hearing needs.
Bose also adds two silicone tips, one on the in-ear portion and the other functioning as a fin against the outer ear, to aid in the finest fit and seal. There are three of the four microphones on the exterior of each earbud.
Another feature that the company has highlighted is activity. Transparency mode developed by the brand, utilizing the robust hardware and Bose sound algorithms. The most recent QuiteComfort Earbuds II have IPX4 water resistance and Bluetooth v5.3 connectivity. Multi-point pairing is excluded, though. The earbuds have a 6-hour battery life rating, but users will gain an additional 18 hours when using the charging case. The new earbuds are charged using the USB-C connector on the casing. As per the company, charging case charge time is 3 hours and a quick 20-minute charging will provide you 2 hours of music playback.
A single triple black pair of Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II is currently available for pre-order for $299 from Bose. On September 15, open sale will be start. A second color option of ‘soapstone’ will be offered later this year.
