Open Google Chrome, Click on Three Dots (More button) at Right Corner and Open ‘history’. Click on ‘clear browsing data’. You may open this from: Click on Three Dots (More button) at Right Corner and open Settings — privacy and security — clear browsing data
Google Chrome offers ‘Basic’ and ‘Advanced’ setting for browsing history, cookies and site data, cached images and files. You will also get time range selection like last hour, last 24 hours, last 7 days, last 4 weeks or all time for specific data cleaning from
Tapping ‘Advanced’ will allows you to access deleting saved passwords, Auto fill form data and site settings.
Remember always select data and time range according to you. Backup your user credentials before deleting any data.
After selecting the time range and the data you want to delete, click on the blue clear button. Sometime you may receive a confirmation prompt to proceed and clear.
There are two ways to clear Browsing data, Cache and cookies in Samsung smartphones. One from browser itself and other from phone settings.
Let’s find out how you can do it from browser.
First open Samsung Internet app, then click on three horizontal lines at right bottom corner to open. Click on Settings and open Personal Browsing Data. Click and open Delete Browsing Data. Select data type according your need. If you want erase all data including saved passwords and login links, then checkmark all items and click Delete Data.
While you can also clear browser data from Phone Settings but we recommend you to do this from Browser. It gives more customization to delete according to your needs.
If you want reset complete app and restart Samsung internet app like a brand new. Then follow the bellow procedure.
Open Phone Settings and Tap on Apps. Find Samsung Internet app from app list. Open storage from bottom. You will find total app storage including cache, app data. Click on clear data and tap on confirm to delete complete app data.
Open Mozilla Firefox and click on four vertical dots at top right corner to access more. Then tap and open settings, click on Delete Browsing Data. Select the items you want to delete and tap on Delete Browsing Data. You will see a warning prompt for your confirmation. Click on delete to proceed and clear browsing data. .
Open Microsoft Edge, tap on three horizontal lines at right bottom corner to open more panel. Click on history. You will see your browsing history; also the trash bin icon. Tap on trash bin icon. Select data type and time range as per your needs, then click on clear data. You will see a prompt for confirm and delete. Simply click clear to delete all browsing data.
Microsoft edge has a built in feature to automatically delete browsing data. It deletes all browsing data whenever you exit the browser. To enable it simply go to history-tap trash bin icon—toggle on-off button to enable.
For smooth and good browsing experience you need to delete browsing data. But this can led you to slow websites loading whenever you open every website after data clear. Deleting data also solve some website related issue like unresponsiveness or laggy. Always remember, backup your important website links and login details as well as saved pages.
