Telegram Premium: faster downloads, more storage and other features
In some countries, Telegram shows the sponsored messages/content on large and public channels. This helps Telegram to provide free service to users. Now Premium app users will no longer see these ads.
With Telegram Premium, Now users can send files up to 4GB. Free tier users can also download files up to 4GB sent by Premium users.

With a Premium subscription, users can follow up to 1000 channels, and create up to 20 chat folders with up to 200 chats each. Users can pin 10 chats in the main list and save 10 favorite stickers.
Users can write a longer bio and include links in it. The premium app allows users to add more characters to media captions. Users can respond to any message with up to 400 favorite GIFs.
Premium users are also able to use up to 20 t.me links to create a channel or group’s short link.
Voice messages can be converted when users don’t want to hear or are unable to hear but want to see what it says. Users can rate transcriptions to help improve this feature.
Premium Users can send dozens of stickers with impressive full-screen animations to add extra emotions to any chat. These stickers are visible to every user. Users can react to messages with over 10 new emoji options.
Telegram Premium includes new tools to organize a user chat list, like changing your default chat folder so the app always opens on a particular folder or unread messages instead of all chats. Users can enable a setting in privacy and security to automatically archive and mute new chats, helping to organize even the busiest chat list.
Premium user’s profile video will animate for everyone throughout the app. including in chats and chats list. Profile video will play in a loop.
Premium users will also get Premium Special Badge. This will appear next to their name In the chat list, chat headers, and member lists in the group. This badge shows premium users’ help and supports to telegram and they receive exclusive features first.
Premium Users can add new icons to their home screens to better match their personality, wallpaper, or theme. Users can choose icons from premium star, night sky, or turbo plane.
Telegram also announced that platform has over 700mn users worldwide.
Telegram is also providing over 100 fixes and optimizations to the mobile and desktop users for all users with this latest update.
