Tech Giant Microsoft has finally brought its popular meeting app ‘Teams’ to the app store on Windows 10 and 11. You just need to go to the app store and download the official Microsoft Teams app instead of downloading it from the Microsoft Teams website and installing it manually.
Mik Chernomordikov, Group Program Manager at Microsoft, shared the news of Microsoft Teams is coming to the Windows App Store. There are no significant changes compared to its counterpart.
Windows 11 users only are able to use work and school accounts with the downloaded app through the app store. Meanwhile, on Windows 10, users can use their personal, work, and school accounts on the downloaded app from the app store.
The Downloaded app from App Store will replace the manually installed app from the website. The Teams app on the Microsoft app store is currently on ver. 1.5.00.11163, same as the downloaded app from the website.
This app will take place in a row in the app store with Office Suite, Edge, Visual Studio, and PowerToys.
